The Baptist Church
We gather as a family every Sunday at 10.30 a.m.
All Ages. All Backgrounds. All Stories. All Welcome.
Whether you have faith or not, whatever your background, ethnicity, ability, status or gender, you will find a place of welcome among us.
We are a church of about 95 members, with a congregation of around 150 people, from toddlers to over 90s.
Our Worship Services are centered around God's Word as we seek to listen to what He is saying to us today in our lives and contexts.
There are age appropriate groups for children and young people during the service where they will learn and have fun with their peers.
But what we do, and who we are as a church, goes far beyond Sunday morning. We seek to live out our faith 7 days a week and there is always lots going on at the church. Go to the Events page to find out more.
You can join us too, so get in touch - we'd love to chat.
A week of fun and games, crafts, puppets and presentations as children (Key Stage 1 and 2) learn about exciting stories from the Bible. Refreshments will be provided.
We have an experienced team of helpers and will be working with generous adult / child ratios. All of our leaders are CRB/DBS checked and registered first aiders will be on site.
…. you’ll be made to feel right at home!
Coming to church for the first time can be a little scary, especially if you don't know what to expect and if you don’t know anyone. At The Baptist Church Kilmington we welcome EVERYONE – All Ages. All Stories. All Backgrounds. On a Sunday morning, you will be greeted by our Welcome Team in the foyer, who will be there to assist you, answer any immediate questions you might have and show you to a seat where you will feel comfortable and relaxed. You will be given a News Sheet which details the activities taking place in the week that follows.
We will be a church which is a beacon for Jesus to the rural Axe Valley and beyond; where the light and love of Jesus is visible and tangible; where the light and truth of God’s Word is spread from here to the world.
